Wha's Like us - 2008 Rally

Wha’s Like us? Scotland 1 – 2008 Rally.

Scotland 1 are delighted to announce their 2008 rally to be held 29-31 August 2008.  As it says in the flyer, we have had over 300 attend at each of our last rallies, and they have been (more than) a sell out. We have had over 250 bookings by 31st December on the previous 2 rallies, and this one is definitely first come, first served, so I would advise early booking.

This year we have added paypal as a method of payment. We have had to add a small surcharge to payments made by paypal (credit card). If you are booking several people at once, you may find it cheaper to use electronic transfer and share the costs between you. If however there are only 2 or 3 in your booking, it may be cheaper to use paypal.  ALL payments must be in Sterling/GB Pounds

You can download the full flyer and application form here

http://www.bkukic.co.uk/stuff/whas%20like%20us%20flyer.doc

Again, the rally will be used to raise funds for UKCOPS (www.ukcops.org )

Thanks for reading, and we hope to see you in 2008

The BLUE KNIGHTS® Intnl. Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club

The BLUE KNIGHTS® is a non-profit fraternal organization consisting of active and retired law enforcement men & women who enjoy riding motorcycles.

In the Spring of 1974, several law enforcement officers* from the Bangor, Maine (USA) area met and and formed a small, local motorcycle club. The rest, as they say, is history.

Soon, Blue Knight chapters were being formed in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and beyond. With the addition of Canada, and later Australia, the Blue Knights became an international organization.

As of September 2007, we have over 560 chapters and almost 20,000 members in 30 countries.

CLICK HERE TO GO TO THE INTERNATIONAL WEB SITE FOR MORE INFORMATION

Scotland 1 was formed in early 2002 with 11 members and we remain the only Blue Knight Chapter in Scotland. We now have around 100 members and have representatives in every Police Force in Scotland as well as the the Scottish Prison Service, The Royal Military Policea and other service Police Forces.

We are a member of the UK & Ireland Conference which currently consists of 17 chapters and around 700 members.

By the set. This is the traditional 'civilian' way to buy your kilt. The pleats at the rear are sewn to match the overall pattern (set) of the tartan By the stripe. This is more of a military or pipe band style, and the pleats at the rear are centred on a single stripe, giving the kilt a different appearance at the rear from the front.
